Manchester’s Terminal 2, a key part of the £1.3bn Airport Transformation Programme, has earned accolades in the esteemed Prix Versailles for its innovative design. The ongoing construction includes Pier 2, set to link with Terminal 2 and offer 12 new boarding gates for advanced aircraft. This mirrors the 2019-launched Pier 1. Upon its 2025 completion, Terminal 2 is projected to accommodate about 80% of airport traffic. The project features 7,200 sqm of façade and a 1,100-tonne metal framework
