Most articles offering advice on the first year of a new business venture talk of proactively taking time out to rest, and instilling a work-life balance from the outset. What a luxury that would be! Having recently celebrated the first anniversary of CCR Global, I can attest that there have been very few opportunities for slowing down. Nor do I see them in our future.
We are incredibly fortunate to have been able to continue supporting our clients on numerous projects, both globally and closer to home, responding to the daily demands of effective contract management, and the ebb and flow of the construction industry.
In a year where UK construction is forecast to enter a resurgence, with expected growth of 12% against 2023, ensuring the robust and effective commercial management of projects has never been more important. As we like to say at CCR Global, success is not a mere coincidence. It is a product of strategic foresight and effective management. We are well-placed to enhance the position of our clients at any stage of the project life cycle, from inception to completion, as an independent service or as collaborative partners alongside existing commercial and management teams.
Whilst it would be wonderful to think that all projects go without a hitch, this is often not the case. Smaller issues can turn into bigger problems that can jeopardise the outcome of the entire venture. We are adept at responding to evolving situations, and have extensive experience leading successful claims, extensions of time and loss & expense prolongation and disruption submissions.
Alongside this, we have developed a comprehensive training package, customised to the individual needs of the client, aimed at empowering their commercial teams to be able to manage contracts in-house.
This all leaves very little room for slowing down. You’re not, so why should we? Here’s looking ahead to another busy year for CCR Global.
